THE FAUNA OF THE TERRITORY

The river Po is very rich in different species of animals. You can go hunting and fishing where it is allowed. The area is renowned especially because of the sheat-fish which hunts other fish and occasionally eats also mice and ducklings. During the day it hides in holes or in the mud; it goes hunting at night. It is a gluttony as well as the eel which is copiously present in the waters of the river.
